Unique Zurich Airport makes a great example of why our multi-provider solution is unique. It shows that MPP offers many features that competing products simply do not have.
At the airport, passengers are directly connected to the UNIQUE Access Portal as soon as they open a web-browser. At this point, they may choose among different Internet Service Providers or services like flight information and transportation schedules that are free of charge. Passengers who choose a provider like Monzoon or Swisscom Mobile will be automatically connected to the provider’s landing page. On this page, current offerings are displayed or Internet access is provided for purchases. Customers may always go back to the start and choose another provider.
The portal of WLAN-Partner.com is fully transparent to Internet Service Providers. They get the feeling as if they had built their own WLAN infrastructure at the airport.
Customers who own special contracts such as iPass get immediate access once they start their client software and successfully authenticate to the site.
